About Me
Dr. Arthur Gurgenovich Mkrtchyan is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience helping adolescents and adults manage depression, anxiety, burnout, sleep disorders, intrusive thoughts, mood swings, and other emotional and mental health challenges. Doctor of Medical Sciences.
In my practice, I combine modern pharmacological treatment approaches with evidence-based psychotherapy methods, including cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapy. This integrative method not only relieves symptoms but also addresses the underlying causes of each patient’s condition, helping restore emotional balance and a stronger connection with oneself.
I offer sessions in English, Armenian and Russian, for individuals, couples, and families. I also have extensive experience working with obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, and borderline personality disorder. My top priority is to create a safe, supportive, and non‑judgmental environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns.
