About Me:

Shilov Dmitry - allergologist-immunologist, Candidate of Medical Sciences.

I specialise in the treatment of children and adults suffering from allergies and immune disorders. In my work I rely on the principles of evidence-based medicine, which allows me to be more effective in my professional decisions.

I use allergen-specific immunotherapy (ASIT sublingual, subcutaneous) to treat allergies. I also help patients with primary immunodeficiencies such as OVIN, X-linked agammaglobulinemia, HAE and CGD.

Professional Competencies:

• Diagnosis and treatment of various allergic diseases: food, drug, plant pollen, house dust, as well as allergies to animals and insect bites;
• Treatment of atopic dermatitis, contact allergic dermatitis, acute and chronic urticaria, allergic rhinitis, conjunctivitis, bronchial asthma, acute and recurrent angioedema (Quincke's oedema) and anaphylaxis;
• All types of skin tests with allergens: prick tests, double prick tests, application tests and intradermal tests;
• Functional respiratory tests and interpretation of laboratory results, including component diagnostics;
• Dietary recommendations, diagnosis and correction of eosinophilic syndromes;
• Management of frequent bacterial complications after acute respiratory infections, individualised vaccination schedules.

• Perm State Medical Academy, Institute of Ecology and Genetics of Microorganisms, Perm Federal Research Center (postgraduate studies)

Scientific endeavour:

• Current member of Russian and European societies of clinical allergists and immunologists.

Professional Experience:

• Experience working in private clinics around Moscow, including the Hadassah Medical Center. Active member of the Russian and European Associations of Allergy & Immunology.
