Problem
After unsuccessful root canal treatment at another clinic, the patient developed inflammation in a lower left tooth. It was painful and at risk of extraction — immediate action was required.
Treatment
We carefully retreated the root canals using a dental microscope. This allowed us to thoroughly clean and disinfect the canals, eliminate the source of infection, and give the surrounding bone a chance to heal.
Result
Six months later, the bone has almost completely regenerated. The tooth was saved, is fully functional, and ready for final crown placement.
