Secondary Decay Under a Filling - Caught Early
A patient came to us with old fillings, and secondary decay had developed around them. These issues often go unnoticed until pain appears or pulpitis develops, which is inflammation of the inner tooth tissues.

The doctor examined the teeth carefully and identified areas of secondary decay beneath the old filling, removed the decayed tissue, restored the tooth using modern light-cured composite materials that reliably seal the damaged area and preserve the tooth shape, and checked the fit of the filling to minimize the risk of recurrent decay.

Results. The tooth was fully restored and protected from further damage, the patient no longer experienced pain or discomfort, and the smile looks natural and aesthetic.
This approach helps keep teeth healthy and the smile attractive, even if previous treatment was not ideal.
