About Me:

Polina Aleksandrovna Lavrova is an ultrasound diagnostic physician with many years of experience. I specialize in comprehensive diagnostics, including echocardiography, vascular studies, abdominal ultrasound, pelvic ultrasound, pediatric and neonatal ultrasound.

I pay particular attention to the early diagnosis of congenital heart defects in children, developmental dysplasia of the hip, and acute surgical conditions such as appendicitis, intestinal obstruction, cholecystitis, and pancreatitis.

My goal is not only to make a diagnosis, but also to help patients understand their condition. I strive to perform examinations gently and comfortably, with particular care for the youngest patients.

• Diagnosis of acute surgical conditions (appendicitis, intestinal obstruction, cholecystitis, pancreatitis)
• Genitourinary ultrasound: kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, prostate, scrotum
• Gynecological ultrasound: pelvic organs, 3D/4D reconstruction, expert diagnosis of endometriosis, ovarian apoplexy, adnexal torsion
• Ultrasound in children and newborns: neurosonography, hip ultrasound, echocardiography
• Soft tissue and joint ultrasound: joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, lymph nodes, thyroid and mammary glands, superficial lesions
• Echocardiography in adults and children: assessment of systolic and diastolic function, valvular apparatus, intracardiac hemodynamics, diagnosis of congenital heart defects
• Vascular Doppler ultrasound: duplex scanning of the arteries and veins of the extremities, brachiocephalic arteries, abdominal aorta, transcranial scanning, examination of the renal and scrotal vessels
• Ultrasound-guided punctures, biopsies and drainages
